Have you ever met someone and instantly feel like you’ve known them your whole life? This is the best way to describe how I felt after our initial meeting! We met because a friend of ours referred her to me for her wedding photography. I’m so excited to introduce you to this awesome couple!! They are the coolest, the funniest! Meet Amelia & Nate, they had an awesome Engagement Session at Tampa Theatre.

They have been dating for about five years now and got engaged at a very interesting time: During Hurricane Irma! They couldn’t wait to tie the knot and got married by court already. Now they are renewing their vows and celebrating this special time in their lives with all their loved ones!

Tampa Theatre Star Wars & La la land Themed Engagement

These two are movie lovers! They are obsessed with Star Wars and La la land is one of their favorite movies. They wanted their engagement session to be unique so we had a Star Wars La la land inspired engagement session! Yep, you read that right!

To prepare for the session, I watched La la land. If you have not seen this movie yet, it is an awesome musical with Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone and you should definitely watch it! PS: I have the best job! I get to watch movies, you know for the job 😉

And what better location to have the engagement session for movie lovers than a movie theatre? We had the session at Tampa Theatre and a rooftop in Downtown Tampa. Check out this Wedding I also photographed in Downtown Tampa. These two really owned their session, from their attire to the props to the posing! I mean look at those Star Wars helmets!
