Originally opened in 1974, Hotel Zamora was named after the historic city of Zamora in Spain, reflecting its Mediterranean-inspired architecture and design. After undergoing significant renovations, it reopened in 2014, blending its rich history with contemporary luxury. Today, it stands as one of St. Pete Beach’s premier wedding venues, offering both charm and modern comforts.

Wedding Days at Hotel Zamora

What sets Hotel Zamora apart are its unique features that enhance the wedding experience. Couples can take advantage of the rooftop terrace, providing panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico. It’s one of the most ideal spots for sunset ceremonies or cocktail hours. Additionally, the hotel features a stunning courtyard with a fire pit, perfect for cozy gatherings post-reception.

Hotel Zamora offers versatile spaces for both ceremonies and receptions. The hotel is best suited for gatherings around 150 guests or less, meaning it’s a beautiful option for smaller and more intimate wedding days.

Rooftop Terrace

The Rooftop Terrace is one of my personal favorite locations for a ceremony or reception! It can hold up to 120 guests and allows for breathtaking views of the water (360 degree views!) and stars as the night goes on. This can also be a great option for your cocktail hour and the incredible wedding advisors at the hotel will help you plan your dream event!

Courtyard

If you’re planning a truly intimate gathering (think 80 guests or less), consider hosting your ceremony or cocktail hour in the courtyard. It’s a gorgeous outdoor setting with a cozy vibe that feels simple and beautiful. The courtyard can also be a stunning option for Hotel Zamora wedding photos, no matter where you hold your ceremony and reception!

Ballroom

Finally, the Hotel Zamora boasts an elegant indoor ballroom space that can host up to 150 guests, perfect for formal dining and dancing. It’s a wonderful option for couples who want that ballroom vibe but still want access to the other amenities the hotel provides.
