Michelle and Stephen are such considerate and cheerful people. I loved all of the time I spent with them during their Tampa engagement session at Hillsborough River State Park. Their session was stylish and beautiful – spent in a gorgeous local park near home. I loved watching Michelle and Stephen interact together, it’s clear their love is strong and something special. 

Their Love Story

Michelle and Stephen met on a small Christian dating app and their first date was the first time either of them had actually met someone from online in real life. They immediately connected over shared values, their love of music, and having fun together. Michelle and Stephen knew that they were onto something special and their relationship only grew from there. They’ve spent their relationship learning about each other, engaging in each other’s hobbies and activities, and finding ways to be together on new adventures.  

Hillsborough River State Park Engagement Session 

For Michelle and Stephen’s engagement session, we chose to meet at Hillsborough River State Park. I love this park because it’s got such a great variety of natural Florida vegetation. We got the lake view, the tropical trees, and sandy beach vibes that Tampa is known for… all in one spot. Michelle and Stephen were great sports, wandering around and just exploring the park with me. I adored watching Stephen make Michelle laugh and I could tell they are the kind of couple who find so much joy in each other’s company – no matter what they’re doing. 

Chic Engagement Session Outfit Inspiration 

Michelle and Stephen brought two stylish looks to their engagement session. The first found both of them in dark green and teal attire. I’m always a huge fan of classic outfits like they chose. They really elevate your portraits! Their second outfits were super chic, too. Stephen rocked an orange jacket with fur lining and Michelle had a beautiful bohemian inspired white dress. They looked amazing together and I really loved the pop of color that Stephen’s jacket brought into all of the greenery.
